In Oman, in the northeast, three large ships collided: the Japanese "Biogas", as well as "Masdar" and "Fiolent". It is noted that at the time of the collision, "Fiolent" received serious damage, which caused an oil leak to begin. Work is currently underway to eliminate the oil spill in the Oman Gulf.
According to representatives of the operator, the "Masdar" team provided first aid to the "Fiolent" crew. So far, there is no information on the injured among the crew members. Rescuers delivered skimmers and other equipment for cleanup to the ship. Emergency services are working at the scene of the incident to prevent oil pollution in the sea.
Representatives of the company owning "Fiolent" confirmed the incident and reported that efforts are being made to prevent ecological damage and save the vessel from complete sinking.
