Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the UAE President and praised the visit as a milestone in bilateral relations. They exchanged views on regional and international matters, stressing the need for peace, security and stability. The UAE delegation included senior officials such as Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan and Ambassador Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, while Pakistan was represented by Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Sheikh Mohamed highlighted the long‑standing cultural links and the UAE’s commitment to support Pakistan in areas like economy, energy, investment and technology. He reaffirmed the UAE’s preference for resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. Prime Minister Sharif expressed confidence that the partnership will bring tangible benefits and invited further collaboration.
