Sharjah basketball coach Abdelhamid Ibrahim announced the addition of American player Jarrod Joyse to the 'King's' roster to strengthen the team for the upcoming stage, starting with the match against Shabab Al-Ahli on Saturday in the Open Federation Cup semi-finals. Ibrahim noted that Joyse has professional experience in European and Asian leagues and previously represented Bulgaria as a naturalized player. He replaces compatriot Marvel Bigby, who moved to the Lebanese league. The team also includes British player Cavel Williams and former NBA player Glen Robinson. The coach emphasized the importance of preparing for the match against Shabab Al-Ahli, a strong team with experience in the Asian League and players like Omar Al-Amri and Deshondre Washington. Al-Nasr became the fourth semi-finalist by defeating Al-Jazira (91-70). The semi-finals will be held on Friday: Al-Nasr vs. Al-Wasl, followed by Sharjah vs. Shabab Al-Ahli.
