This collaboration aims to enhance the precision and efficiency of lunar missions, provide immersive training environments for astronauts, and support Dubai’s vision for sustainable economic growth through innovative digital platforms. SpaceData will develop a digital twin environment to support lunar exploration training for UAE astronauts, improving their capabilities for safe and efficient exploration activities in the future. Additionally, they will create a detailed digital twin of Dubai’s urban environment.

A digital twin is essentially a virtual model of a real-world object or process that can help simulate real-life scenarios and predict outcomes. The collaboration between MBRSC and SpaceData will see the creation of a high-fidelity lunar digital twin platform for space exploration, as well as a detailed Earth-based digital twin platform to support economic initiatives.
