Tips for Cheaper Flight Bookings Revealed

A report issued by the "Expedia" group for air travel reveals important data for the year 2025 that could help travelers save money when booking flight tickets. The report indicates that Sunday is the cheapest day to book flights, where travelers on domestic flights can save 6%, and travelers on international flights can save 17% compared to booking on Monday or Friday.

According to the report, booking day is not the only important factor, but it is also related to determining the travel day. For example, if travel is on Thursday instead of Sunday, it could save travelers 17%. The report also emphasizes the importance of departure dates, stating that traveling on Saturday instead of Sunday can save 17% for domestic flights and 15% for international flights.

In general, the report shows that it is necessary to be cautious to ensure the timing of booking flight tickets, where savings can reach 17% if tickets are booked 18 to 29 days before the departure date. Nevertheless, the report warns against rising prices in the case of long waits before the travel date.

The report indicates that March is the most expensive month for travel, while the biggest savings can be achieved in August, reaching up to 7% of the costs. The data provided from the Airlines Reporting Corporation database and enhanced by OAG data reflects the importance of determining the right times to book flight tickets for optimal offers and savings.
