Many clients who spoke with "Emirates Today" expressed remarks regarding the long waiting lists for the new Nissan Patrol model. The wait ranges from two to three months. One of the most significant issues faced by those wishing to purchase this popular model in the UAE is the need to be on the waiting list.
Arabian Automobiles, the Nissan dealer in Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, reported that demand for certain particular models has significantly increased, which may lead to an extension of delivery times in order to guarantee high service quality. They noted that some models have unique features for the local market, requiring specialized adjustments.
One of the clients, Yusuf Abdullahi, said: "I was surprised to learn about the waiting list for two to three months for receiving the new Nissan Patrol model." Another client, Ibrahim Mukhammed, confirmed that extended delivery times for the new Patrol models, according to official car dealers, make it difficult to acquire the vehicle.
The General Managing Director of Arabian Automobiles, Hossam Baghdadi, stated that demand for the Nissan Patrol vehicle increased by 184% in the fourth quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of that same year, thanks to the launch of the completely new model in October of the previous year. He added that the new model played a key role in strengthening the brand's market share and reinforcing its position.
According to him, the new Nissan Patrol model is distinguished by significant updates compared to previous models, combining power and advanced technology. The new model is equipped with a V6 engine with twin turbocharging, a 9-speed automatic transmission, and an adaptive air suspension with the ability to adjust for different types of terrain.
