Dubai Maritime Authority Launches Initial Technical Inspection Service

The service 'Salute Dubai Maritime Ways' at the Port Authority and Customs, as well as the free trade zone, has launched a new service - 'Preliminary Technical Inspection'. This service is provided online and allows ship owners to conduct a preliminary check of their vessels before arriving at the port. The new service aims to improve the processing operations of vessels and reduce the waiting time at the port.

According to the representatives of the service, the introduction of this service is related to the goal of optimizing processes and increasing the efficiency of port operations. The 'Preliminary Technical Inspection' will reduce the time spent on the vessel inspection upon arrival, as well as improve the safety and efficiency of port operations. It is noted that this service is part of the digital transformation in the maritime transport and trade sector. Within the framework of this initiative, the introduction of new technologies for improving the quality of service to clients and optimizing business processes is also planned.

The representatives of the service emphasized that thanks to the implementation of the new service, ship owners will have the opportunity to prepare their ships in advance for docking at the port, which will save time and resources. This direction makes the process of entry and exit of ships from the port more transparent and convenient for all participants.
