AI Adoption Gap in Developing Countries

Emerging economies struggle to keep up with advanced nations in AI research and implementation. This 'AI gap' could widen existing inequalities if not addressed, but strategic approaches can help overcome traditional barriers.

AI Adoption Gap in Developing Countries

In the field of research and development of artificial intelligence and the tasks of its implementation and regulation, advanced countries stand out. At the same time, many developing countries experience difficulties in keeping up with this trend. The development of artificial intelligence requires a reliable digital infrastructure, including quality broadband and high-speed internet.

Artificial intelligence is changing industries around the world; however, its adoption remains significantly slower in the southern hemisphere compared to the north. This gap, often referred to as the "artificial intelligence gap," could lead to a widening of existing disparities if appropriate measures are not addressed.

Nonetheless, there is a possibility for southern hemisphere countries to overcome traditional barriers and accelerate the integration of technology strategically.
