The publication of new statistical data from the 'Dubai Economic Department' shows that the number of Certificates of Origin (COO) issued in the first half of 2021 increased by 133% compared to the same period last year. This growth reflects Dubai's efforts to ensure more transparent, effective, and sustainable trade relations with other countries through the simplification of COO issuance procedures. One of the reasons for such an increase may be the aim of entrepreneurs to enhance the export of their products to other countries, which in turn contributes to the development of local and international trade. One of the key findings of the statistics is that the total number of issued COOs in Dubai for the first half of 2021 amounted to more than 50 thousand certificates, indicating significant growth of this indicator and its importance for the business community of the emirate. Such results underscore the growing significance of Dubai as a key player in international trade and its intention to create a favorable economic environment for various sectors of industry and business.
