
Activities at the Center for Sustainability and Innovation of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) welcomed a high-level delegation from Brunei. The head of the delegation was the Deputy Minister of Energy of Brunei Darussalam, Haji Muhammad Azmi bin Haji Muhammad Haniffa.
Leaders of the Center presented guests with comprehensive information about recent achievements in the field of clean and renewable energy, as well as about Dubai's efforts to stimulate sustainable development and transition to energy. They also discussed projects of the agency aimed at achieving carbon neutrality and diversifying energy sources.
One of the prominent projects highlighted to the guests was the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park - the largest solar complex in the world, capable of generating over 5000 megawatts by 2030.
The delegation learned about the Center's efforts in developing competencies in the field of renewable and clean energy.
