Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Achieves ISO Certification

The Authority of Culture and Arts in Dubai, known as "Dubai Culture," announced its receipt of the ISO 56001:2024 certification for its innovation management system, becoming the first government entity in the world to obtain this certification. The aim of this certification is to provide a structured framework for organizations to encourage the establishment, management, maintenance, and improvement of their innovation management system.

This step reflects the authority's efforts towards applying best international practices in empowering the cultural and creative sector, supporting Dubai's creative vision, and is aligned with the "Dubai Creativity 2025" initiative. Obtaining this certification enhances the authority's role in establishing a culture of innovation and excellence in the government sector at a global level.

In a statement, Hala Badri, General Director of the Dubai Culture Authority, emphasized the authority's commitment to adopting the best international practices in innovation management and working on developing performance efficiency. The certification expresses the authority's commitment to achieving its goals and priorities in the cultural sector, strengthens its reputation, and enables it to present measurable results and open broader horizons for cooperation.

It is noted that "Dubai Culture" obtained four other certifications in ISO standards during the year 2024, which are in the fields of business continuity management, risk management, corporate governance management system, and partnership management systems, making it the first cultural institution to achieve these certifications at a global level.
