Dubai Comedy Festival has announced that its eighth edition, set to be the biggest yet, will kick off on October 8th. Over 10 days, the festival will host a elite roster of top comedy stars and emerging talents to present a lineup of global entertainment shows, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy an atmosphere filled with laughter and fun. The festival attracts a diverse audience from various cultures and age groups, united by a single language: laughter. Dubai has solidified its status as a global hub for entertainment, and the festival stands as a testament to this development, providing a crucial platform for comedians from the region and worldwide to showcase their talents before an audience in the emirate, home to around 200 nationalities. Since its inaugural edition in 2015, which featured Dave Chappelle's first-ever comedy show in the Middle East at Dubai Skydive, the festival has seen substantial growth. Over its past editions, it has welcomed comedy legends and rising stars, including Mo Amer, Bassem Youssef, Jon Ashcroft, Jad El Mallah, Nemer, Vir Das, Kapil Sharma, Maz Jobrani, Morgan Jay, and many more.
