Dubai Culture Launches Seventh Edition of 'Ramadan Heroes' Initiative

Dubai's Culture and Arts Authority, 'Dubai Culture', has launched the seventh edition of its humanitarian initiative, 'Ramadan Heroes', aiming to instill values of solidarity and generosity among community members and encourage them to contribute to humanitarian efforts. The initiative is part of Dubai Culture's commitment to supporting the 'Ramadan in Dubai' campaign, which falls under the 'Al Wulfa' season. This season aims to strengthen family bonds and celebrate Emirati community and cultural events, thereby preserving local cultural heritage, showcasing authentic Emirati values, and reinforcing Dubai's status as a global city that promotes tolerance, coexistence, and respect for cultures. Through 'Ramadan Heroes', with the slogan 'Celebrating the Spirit of Giving', and in collaboration with Talabat and the Emirates Red Crescent, Dubai Culture seeks to support underprivileged and needy families across the nation. It encourages community groups to donate iftar meals, Ramadan gift parcels, Eid clothing, and charity through the 'Ramadan Heroes Virtual Association' on the Talabat app. These items will be delivered to beneficiaries in a safe and swift manner, in coordination with Emirates Red Crescent teams, enhancing the values of giving, compassion, and mutual support within the community. This aligns with the authority's social responsibility commitments. Saleh Al Buraimi, Head of Corporate Communication and Marketing at Dubai Culture, emphasized the importance of the 'Ramadan Heroes' initiative and its role in making a positive impact in charitable fields. He also highlighted its role in encouraging the community to support charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives that embody Emirati societal values and reflect its authentic culture. He stated: 'Through 'Ramadan Heroes', Dubai Culture reaffirms its commitment to its sectoral priorities and responsibilities focused on investing in people and enhancing their quality of life, as well as strengthening family cohesion and social solidarity by supporting underprivileged and needy families and meeting their needs throughout the holy month. This helps to showcase the essence of Dubai and its positive and inspiring environment, characterized by tolerance and openness.' Al Buraimi explained that the initiative has achieved remarkable success over the past years thanks to its wide reach and ability to engage various segments of society. Saleh Al Buraimi: • 'The initiative' helps to showcase the essence of Dubai and its positive and inspiring environment, characterized by tolerance and openness.
