Dubai Unveils First Artwork for 'Cleo' Project

The «Cleo» project, an artistic installation spanning 10 kilometers in the desert, has unveiled its first major artwork, covering 250 square meters, positioning itself as a new leading cultural landmark. The unveiling ceremony took place at the Skydive Dubai drop zone in The Palm Jumeirah. The artwork, designed by world-renowned artist Agron Hoti, is the first in a series of exclusive presentations that will be showcased throughout the project's various stages. The piece will later be moved to its permanent home at the «Cleo Desert Park» after the completion of its preparation phase at «Dubai Harbour». This event reflects the shared strategic vision between «Cleo Desert Park» and «Skydive Dubai» to develop immersive artistic experiences, where visitors will have the opportunity to soar above the artwork. This achievement is supported by «Shamal Holding» in Dubai, which has championed the project since its inception and owns the land where the artwork will be permanently situated in the heart of the Dubai desert. A key highlight of the ceremony was when artist Agron Hoti, accompanied by a team of professionals, flew over the artwork before landing on a dedicated platform, a scene that embodies the integration of art, performance, and collective participation. Massimiliano Soglia, founder of «Cleo Desert Park», stated: «This achievement we are unveiling is not just a painting, but a gateway we are opening to a world of immersive experiences that will put us on the world cultural map, and we are confident that the desert park will become a vibrant artistic destination and an inspiring space for creativity.» In turn, artist Agron Hoti said: «We witnessed an artistic presentation that will be part of the experiences the park will host upon its opening; flying over an artwork that celebrates inclusivity transforms the moment into a purely emotional and human experience».
