New Residency Privileges for Dubai Residents

Dubai's GDRFA launches the 'Ideal Face' initiative, rewarding residents with 10 years of compliance with residency laws from November 1, offering priority services and recognition.

New Residency Privileges for Dubai Residents

Residents of Dubai and their sponsors, who have had a violated residency question for the last 10 years, will have the right to special privileges starting from November 1, announced the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). This has become part of the GDRFA initiative called "Ideal Resident", recognized for both foreigners and UAE citizens for compliance with residency laws.

"Ideal Resident" is an initiative launched by GDRFA with the aim of appreciating and valuing all people, whether they are citizens, residents, or visitors complying with residency laws, contributing to strengthening community safety and stability," stated GDRFA Dubai in a message.

Among those entitled to participate in the program are UAE citizens and foreign residents with 10 years of residency in Dubai. This also includes sponsors with clean visa records and their dependents.

Benefits include priority service and separate queues at Amer centers, digital verification of residency compliance, and domestic services for the needs of visa and immigration for the elderly.

To participate, applicants must provide mandatory documentation through the GDRFA Dubai website. After the submission confirmation and verification by the immigration officials, residents receive digital certification.
