Al Ain's head coach, Vladimir Ivic, emphasized the importance of maintaining the strong start his team has had in the ADNOC Pro League. He noted that the current top position with 16 points and no losses reflects the players' seriousness and commitment on the field, stressing the need to continue this momentum when 'The Leader' face Ajman on Thursday in the seventh round. At yesterday's press conference, Ivic said: «It is very important that we started the season the way we wanted. We are currently leading, the team is performing well, and the players are working hard. I have said more than once that they deserve this position, and one could say that things are under control». He added: «The players are serious and understand that we have had a good start, but we have many matches ahead in all competitions». Regarding the match against Ajman, the Serbian coach said: «We know that Ajman is a strong and organized team, and the match against them will be difficult, perhaps one of the most difficult for us away from home. They have a clear defensive style, they are good at second balls, and they have outstanding players in attack who can finish an attack in just three or four passes, so we need to be very careful». Ivic concluded his remarks by saying: «We need to prepare well on how to stop their fast attacks, especially from the wings. In return, we must know how to attack against them and do everything that gives us the advantage in the match. So far, we have achieved what our fans expected from us, and we must continue to work to complete what we started».
