"The Zeinm" returned to the top of the table just 50 minutes after Al Wahda had temporarily gone to the top following the end of their match against Al Nasr. Al Wahda had jumped to the top with 17 points after a thrilling 3-2 win over Al Nasr, putting extra pressure on Al Ain before facing Ajman. However, an early goal from Matias Palacios in the 10th minute quickly put his team back on top and gave his teammates a huge psychological advantage from the start, which paved the way for the big win that secured the three points before the suspension of the competition due to the international break. The match saw a fan attendance of nearly three thousand, including about 1700 Al Ain fans who continued to cheer throughout the match and celebrated their team's return to the top before the international break. Al Ain's goals were scored by Matias Palacios in the 10th minute, Kodjo Laba in the 60th minute, before Alejandro Caco completed the hat-trick in the 81st minute. As a result, Al Ain raised its total to 19 points at the top without a loss, having achieved 6 wins and only one draw, while Ajman's total froze at 9 points after its fourth loss this season.
