Badr Ibrahim Marzak, a player for the Residence and Foreigners Affairs Club - Dubai, stated that the development of futsal in the country is progressing slowly and requires greater efforts to keep pace with the game's development at both Asian and global levels. He emphasized that this is not the sole responsibility of the Football Association but requires a joint cooperative effort from clubs and support from sports councils. Badr Ibrahim told "Al-Ittihad Al-Youm": "For futsal in the UAE to develop, it needs to ensure the technical stability it has been lacking for many years, due to the withdrawal of strong teams that possess a large pool of distinguished players, in addition to new teams with limited experience. This technical stability will greatly contribute to the development of the game." He added, "There is development in futsal, but it is very slow and does not match the modern infrastructure of the clubs and the large number of players and fans who love this game. We also need to increase the number of tournaments to raise the number of matches and develop experience." He explained, "There is a pressing need for the Football Association to intervene to accelerate the development of futsal through effective measures, including encouraging or obliging clubs under its umbrella to participate in futsal leagues, such as: Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Al-Ain, Al-Jazira, Al-Dhafra, Al-Wahda, Al-Shabab, Fujairah, and other clubs that have previously had successful experiences in the game." Players without Clubs Badr Ibrahim added, "There are many national players who participate in competitions under 21 and other age categories, but they do not find clubs to play on grass pitches. If there were enough futsal teams, these players would be able to continue practicing the sport in an environment that suits their abilities, which protects talents from early retirement." He clarified that "the attention of clubs to the first team that participates in the Pro League or First Division sometimes comes at the expense of futsal teams, which negatively affects their development." The National Team and Media Badr Ibrahim confirmed that media support is a fundamental factor in developing futsal, especially through television broadcasting, which helps familiarize the public with the rules of the game and increases its popularity. As for the national team, he explained that the conditions for its development are available, but it requires a clear strategic plan to form a strong and competitive team for the future, not just a temporary one, stressing the importance of clubs' contribution to supporting the team. A Distinguished Career Badr Ibrahim revealed that he has been playing futsal since 2010 and has played for five clubs: Al-Wasl, Al-Nasr, Al-Bataeh, Meliha, and Al-Hamria, and is currently playing for the Residence and Foreigners Affairs - Dubai. He takes pride in his career with the national team, which spanned about 10 years, during which he played a large number of official and friendly matches and achieved beautiful memories in various championships with the "White Futsal" team. As for titles, he mentioned that he won 15 titles, including nine league titles, four President's Cup titles, and two UAE Cup titles. For futsal to develop, it needs to ensure the technical stability it has been lacking for many years due to the withdrawal of strong teams.
