He mentioned that Umm Al Quwain controlled the first half and scored three goals, despite Khorfakkan having outstanding players. The team utilized the spaces left by Khorfakkan in the second half, executing successful counter-attacks. Vedić believes the victory was a result of teamwork, discipline, and concentration. Khorfakkan's assistant coach, Tiago da Cunha, confirmed that injuries affected his team and were a key reason for the loss, along with defensive errors. He noted that they anticipated a tough match against a well-organized and strong team. Khorfakkan played with the same style as in their last two matches, but the lack of players due to injuries impacted their performance. With this win, Umm Al Quwain's total points increased to 20, placing them seventh, while Khorfakkan remains eighth with 18 points.
