Football player Shabab Al-Ahli, Federico Cartabia, confirmed that his team participates in all tournaments this season with the goal of winning them. He emphasized that "Dubai Knights" do not prioritize one tournament over others. Cartabia stated "Emirates Day", that Shabab Al-Ahli enters the current season with the same ambitions they had in previous seasons. He clarified: "Since my joining the team, the goal has always been the same - to fight for victory in any tournament in which the team participates." He added: "We participate in many tournaments throughout the season and do not think about focusing on a particular tournament; the priority is given to the next match, for which we are preparing."
Speaking about the assessment of Shabab Al-Ahli's results at the moment, he said: "I see that the start is good; the team has gathered a full ball in the Professional League, we also passed the quarter-finals of the Abu-Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup. And at the beginning of our path in the Cup, the President of the country had a match against Dibba Al-Hisn, which will not be easy. At the continental level, we could demonstrate a better result in the group stage of the Asian Champions League, but the tournament has just begun, and we have greater chances to reach the second round."
He pointed out that no one can deny that Shabab Al-Ahli is one of the favorites in the fight for the Asian title. He said: "Some may consider that Shabab Al-Ahli is the strongest contender for the victory in the Asian Champions League, and we must approach these nominations with a positive perspective, considering that the team indeed has a good group of players capable of winning the title. At the same time, we need to translate this into practice through strong games and focus on victories."
He concluded: "We are moving forward under the guidance of the Portuguese coach Paulo Sousa, working on adapting to the style of play, focusing on improving in each match better than in the previous one."
