At the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the preparation for the World Karate Championship 2025, which will take place in Fujairah in February next year. His Highness emphasized the leading reputation that the Emirate of Fujairah enjoys in the international sports community, thanks to the infrastructure and organizational resources for conducting important tournaments. He also expressed support for Sheikh Hamad bin Mohamad Al-Sharki, a member of the Supreme Council and the ruler of Fujairah, in his strive to develop the sports sector in the emirate and follow through with his objectives.
Sheikh Mohamad bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, head of the Federal Federation of aquatic sports OAAE, chairman of the board of directors of the Abu-Dhabi marine club, secured victory in the third stage of the OAAE Championship for Formula 4 boat racing, which concluded on Sunday in Abu Dhabi with significant audience participation over the course of two days. On the first day of the tournament, first place was won by Sultan Al-Falahy, the leader of the team "Black Pharaons" on boat 3. The second place was taken by Ubaid Mubarak, captain of the UBIED Marine team on boat 7. In third place was Khalid Sultan Al Mazmi, captain of the Sharjah team on boat 8.
