In February 2025, two major taekwondo tournaments will take place in the UAE. The Arab Cup (G1) will be held from February 5 to 7 and will gather 1,534 athletes. Then, from the 9th to the 13th of the same month, the International Taekwondo Tournament will start in Fujairah, which is considered one of the most prestigious events in the world. This time, it is expected to host 2,628 participants, making it the largest participation in the history of tournaments.
It is expected that the total number of participants in both tournaments will exceed the mark of 4,000 athletes, indicating a high interest in competitions. The 'Taekwondo Federation of the UAE' has announced details of upcoming tournaments, which will take place at the Zayed Sports Hall complex in Fujairah. Participation in the tournaments will be top athletes, among whom there are many world champions and medalists.
In an interview, the organizers emphasized that the level of superiority will be very high, making the upcoming competitions even more captivating.
