Jordan's national team has won the first edition of the Fujairah International Tennis Championship, organized by the Fujairah Tennis Club in cooperation with the UAE Tennis Federation. This came after their 2-0 victory over Qatar in the final match held on Saturday evening. Iran's team secured the third place. The winners were honored by the Chairman of the Fujairah Tennis Club, Abdul Ghafur Yehrozian, and the General Secretary of the UAE Tennis Federation, Naser Yousuf Al Marzouqi. In turn, the General Secretary congratulated the top three teams, stating that the Fujairah International Teams Tournament has opened a new chapter in the quality of tournaments organized by the federation and represents a new achievement for the Fujairah Tennis Club, as well as a turning point in the efforts to develop and promote the sport of tennis. He also confirmed that the results of the championship will be thoroughly evaluated to reflect on the development of the UAE national team players for the better.
