The first edition of the Fujairah Women's International Tennis Tournament W75 concluded in Fujairah, organized by the Fujairah Tennis Club in cooperation with the UAE Tennis Federation under the supervision of the International Tennis Federation. The event, which ended on Saturday evening, saw the crowning of the champions. The winners were honored by Abdulghafour Behroozian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Fujairah Tennis Club, and Naser Yousuf Al Marzouqi, Secretary-General of the Tennis Federation, in the presence of James Conway, Head of Strategy and Tournaments at the ITF, and the club's director, Hania Riki. The total prize money amounted to $60,000. In the women's singles, Croatian player Markinko, ranked 116th in the world, claimed the top prize after a clean two-set victory (6-4, 6-4) in the final against Russian player Abdyramova, ranked 400th. In the women's doubles, the first place was secured by Slovak player Hrunckova (ranked 219) and her Czech partner Valdmanova (ranked 340), who defeated the British Mika Stoisavljevic and Austrian Olivia Gadetski with a score of 6-3 and 6-4. Naser Yousuf Al Marzouki congratulated the winners and praised the Fujairah Tennis Club for its outstanding efforts in making the tournament a great success. He expressed his happiness with the high technical levels displayed by the 67 participating players, including 5 local players, which contributed to an excellent tournament. He described this success as a complement to the previously held tournaments in Fujairah. Abdulghafour Behroozian, Chairman of the Fujairah Tennis Club, announced that another tournament will be held in January with a higher classification and a prize money of $100,000, expecting an even stronger technical performance and greater participation of international players. Hania Riki, the club's director, described the tournament as a new organizational, community, and technical addition to the Fujairah Tennis Club, and affirmed that the club will continue to host the strongest tournaments and provide the best means for their success.
