Fujairah club player Sander Benbshr expressed great happiness in helping the team score goals, however, he emphasized that winning remains the most important thing, even if it is achieved without him scoring. Benbshr is one of the prominent strikers this season, having successfully scored crucial goals that put him at the top of the scorers' list with 15 goals, along with his contributions in playmaking and leading the team's attacking line. Regarding the joining of world-class names to the league, such as Italian player Mario Balotelli, Benbshr said: "I am happy to have a player of Balotelli's caliber in the competition, and I hope to finish the season ahead of him, even if he joined late." Regarding his 15 goals in the first round of the tournament so far, a rare number compared to previous seasons, and his success in evading tight defensive marking, he said: "I have become accustomed to special marking inside the stadium, and it no longer surprises me, but rather motivates me to give my best." Benbshr, the top scorer in the First Division, also explained that he often celebrates his goals after matches by strolling in the beautiful places of Fujairah city, especially at Umbrella Beach. Sander Benbshr told "Al-Ittihad" newspaper: "We have every chance to get promoted this season, but the challenge is greater compared to last season, due to the presence of strong teams that have significantly strengthened their squads and made promotion a main goal for them." He added: "I wish to be an influential factor with the team, and I believe I am currently having one of my best seasons personally, in terms of the number of goals or impact on the field, but the season is not over yet. The player of Fujairah club's first team, Frenchman Sander Benbshr, revealed the strong chances of his team in competing for promotion to the ADNOC Pro League in the next season, while at the same time confirming that the season is still long and requires continuing tactical discipline, stressing that he wishes to finish the season surpassing the Italian legend Mario Balotelli, who recently joined Al-Ittihad club. Benbshr pointed out that the competition for the two promotion spots is confined to eight teams: Fujairah, United, Arabi, Dibba Al-Hisn, Al-Zayed, Hatta, Al-Oruba, and Emirates, whose points are close, ranging from 21 to 27 points.
