Al-Teir overlooks a range of projects in electrical energy, implemented in Khatt within the framework of the comprehensive development plan for the area. It emphasized that these projects are part of the organization's efforts to support the constant growth of demand for electrical energy in various parts of Dubai. They are aimed at utilizing renewable technologies and pay special attention to sustainable development.

These projects also allow achieving Dubai 2040 goals in relation to Khatt and the economic and social plans of Dubai, and strengthen innovation and sustainability as the core principles of the future energy sector of Dubai. They also align with Dubai's strategies for clean energy 2050 and the strategies for neutralizing CO2 emissions by 2050 to ensure full production capacity from renewable sources by 2050.

The projects include the construction of main substations with a 132 kV voltage and energy transmission lines at 132 kV in Khatt to increase the capacity for energy transmission. This project will significantly enhance the ability to transmit energy in the region and includes aerial lines at 82.9 km and 328 transmission towers, as well as underground cables of 18 km for connecting stations to the main transmission network.

This project plays an important role in the integration of renewable energy sources, particularly hydropower with energy storage technology capacity up to 250 MW, introduced by the organization in Khatt. Furthermore, Al-Teir also overlooks another main substation for electrical transmission at 132 kV with a transformer capacity of 120 MVA, which will be included for operation in March 2026 to meet the needs of the growing region and to provide for the residential areas of Khatt. The total cost of the station amounts to 116 million dirhams.
