ISESCO Delegation Visits Sharjah Quranic Park to Discuss Cooperation

Director-General of ISESCO, Dr. Salem bin Muhammad Al-Malik, visited the Sharjah Quranic Park to discuss cooperation in Quranic sciences and tour the facility with its leadership.


ISESCO Delegation Visits Sharjah Quranic Park to Discuss Cooperation

During the visit of the Director-General of ISESCO, Dr. Salem bin Muhammad Al-Malik, to the Sharjah Quranic Park, opportunities for cooperation in the fields of promoting Quranic sciences and studies of its interpretation and rhetoric, as well as exchanging experiences and holding scientific seminars and conferences, were discussed. The delegation included Osama Hikel, head of the Media and Communication Sector at ISESCO, Salem Omar Salem, Director of the ISESCO Regional Office in Sharjah, Dr. Salem bin Hilal Al-Habsi, Secretary-General of the National Committees and Conferences, Dr. Muhammad Zain Al-Abidin, head of the Culture and Communication Sector, and Abdulhakim Al-Sinan, Director of the ISESCO Regional Office in Baku. The delegation was received by Dr. Abdullah Khalif Al-Hosani, Secretary-General of the Sharjah Quranic Park, and a number of department directors. During a tour of the park's halls, the delegation listened to a detailed explanation of the park's scientific, research, and cultural role. Dr. Salem bin Muhammad Al-Malik stated that the Sharjah Quranic Park is a beacon of science, not only because of its magnificent architecture but also for the manuscripts and artifacts it contains, which narrate the history of the Quran's writing, its sciences, and the scholars who dedicated their lives to serving the Holy Quran. He praised the great efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, in establishing this rare and great edifice to be a destination for visitors and researchers, which will continue to serve future generations by drawing from this wellspring of civilizational and historical knowledge. He noted that the focus on the Quran and the history of its rare manuscripts reflects Sharjah's significant role in serving the Word of God and affirms the park's status as a global center for learning the Quran with its various readings. He also mentioned that scientific initiatives and projects for cooperation between ISESCO and the park will be launched to serve the Holy Quran and its sciences, adding that this cooperation will be fruitful under the patronage and follow-up of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah.
