The Sharjah Arabic Language Authority highlighted 'Dr. Samir Droubi's Journey in Authorship and Classification' during its 11th Linguistic Council, held the day before yesterday. As part of its vision to raise awareness of the Arabic language and deepen the connection with its scientific and intellectual heritage, the authority presented Droubi's work. During the council, attended by the Secretary-General of the Sharjah Arabic Language Authority, Dr. Mohamed Safi El Mostaghanemi, and a group of academics, teachers, and Arabic language experts, Droubi reviewed the paths of research and verification and their impact on building knowledge and preserving the Arab scientific heritage, with a special focus on the contributions of Arab sciences to experimental and applied fields, especially 'agricultural science' through the book 'Andalusian Agriculture' by Ibn al-Awwam al-Ishbili (d. 580 AH), and the knowledge it contained, which contributed to shaping the paths of the European Renaissance. In turn, Dr. El Mostaghanemi emphasized the importance of listening to the experiences of scientists in the fields of authorship, verification, and classification, due to the accumulated knowledge and long experience they carry, noting that what Dr. Samir Droubi presents during the council offers a living model of a complete scientific life path that combines research in history and civilization.
