Signing his new book "The Baridda's Joy" at the time of the International Sharjah Book Fair 2024, Syrian writer Hasan al-Mir Ahmed was met with numerous friends and cultural enthusiasts. "This book is personal reflections, dressed in poetic style, which may appeal to some, but not to all," said the writer about his new work. "It is filled with honesty and clarity, primarily before itself, trying to relate to those who find in it reflections of their own situations and feelings over the years, usable, sad, contradictory and comforting, but always breathing the light of hope regardless of what it is."
Hasan al-Mir Ahmed is a Syrian writer and journalist, residing in the UAE, having worked in many famous publications. Last year, he was published by the publishing house Ostin Makuli in the UAE in the format of a collection of stories and thoughts. Previously, he also published a collection of stories "Oblomki" and contributed to the essays, poetry and literary texts in many newspapers, magazines and online platforms.
