The fourth version of the march "Let's Live", organized by the Association of Friends of Big Cancer Together with the American Cancer Society, highlighted inspiring stories about hope and resilience, shared by participants who have survived this disease. The event took place at the Shardji University in the Emirates under the slogan "Life is Worth It." Dina Maria from the Netherlands, a 51-year-old resident of OAD, mother of one child, felt a lump in her chest every month, but did not receive an improvement after visiting the doctor. She was diagnosed with stage three cancer in February 2024, after which she began chemotherapy, undergoing surgery in December of the previous year. She has now completely recovered. One of the important parts of Dina's participation in the march "Let's Live" is her focus on raising awareness and support for breast cancer, aiming to never give up and continue the fight. Khulud Abu Magdad from Iran, a 47-year-old mother of one daughter, accidentally learned about her diagnosis after suffering from a lump in her shoulder. After the operation in August 2019, she underwent treatment until April 2020. Khulud emphasized the importance of regularly undergoing examinations for cancer detection and advises all women to do so. Suhna Mukhiyeddin Abu Harb from Syria, a 54-year-old mother of four daughters, successfully overcame stage three breast cancer and lymph nodes under her armpit, beginning targeted treatment in 2021 and undergoing chemotherapy. Since the moment it began in 2017, the march "Let's Live" has gathered more than 12,500 participants and highlighted more than 500 survivors, underscoring the importance of solidarity and community support in the fight against cancer.
