The event, organized by the Pedagogical Center of the Arabic Language for Persian Gulf countries in Sharjah, featured a lecture titled "Stops with the Arabic Language: Between Structure and Meaning." The lecture was delivered by the dean of the Faculty of Quranic Studies of the University of Kasimia, Dr. Abdulkareem Osman.
Although the event took place on the evening of yesterday, in the office of the center in the university hometown of Sharjah, the significance of this scientific session was emphasized by the head of the center, Dr. Issa Salih Al-Hamadi. He pointed out the importance of the depth and beauty of the Arabic language, especially in the Quranic text, where elegance and precision in word and meaning selection prevail.
Dr. Abdulkareem Osman explained that harmony is one of the secrets of the beauty of the Quranic text and its deep influence. Indeed, every word and every letter in the Quran constitutes part of a delicate structure that elevates meaning to the highest possible level.
Extraordinary attention to the selection of words, both in sound and rhythm and melody, gives the text a special power in the soul of the reader. The lecturer also pointed to the necessity of precision in the selection of meanings, since the Quran demonstrates deep and profound meanings, influencing the human soul. According to him, Quranic stories and their morals, such as the story of Moses and Pharaoh, reflect the struggle between might and truth, as well as the story of Yusuf, illustrating the balance between wisdom and temptation, significantly underpin the importance and greatness of the selection of words and meanings in the text.
