UAE Launches AI-Powered Trade Platform

The United Arab Emirates is launching a new artificial intelligence-powered foreign trade platform to boost its non-oil trade. This initiative is part of the UAE's 'Global Trade Centre' program, aimed at enhancing the country's position as a global gateway for goods and services. The platform, developed in partnership with Presail, will use AI to analyze millions of data points in real-time, including information from ports, shipping routes, international laws, and trade agreements. This will enable government bodies and companies to receive detailed analytical insights to anticipate potential challenges and identify new growth opportunities. According to Minister of Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, this platform is a key part of the ministry's plan to provide data-driven forecasts on global trade trends, benefiting the national business community. The partnership with Presail, as noted by its CEO Thomas Bramothidham, demonstrates the UAE's leadership in AI adoption and will help launch a new era of seamless global trade by reducing disruptions and aligning supply and demand instantly.
