UAE Issues 3,170 Licenses, a 150% Increase

On Monday, the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), the federal authority regulating securities and commodities markets in the United Arab Emirates, announced the issuance of 3,170 licenses and approvals in 2025. This marks a 150% increase compared to the 1,272 licenses issued in 2024. The SCA also reported a growth of $470 billion in assets under management and a 322% increase in local investment funds. There are 197 funds under the SCA's supervision, which have grown by 66%.
