Izabel Abulkhair and Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi of Sharjah expressed their views on the specific impact of philanthropy in the field of literature. Izabel emphasized that philanthropic activities aimed at supporting literature are investments in knowledge, culture, and the future, which bring strength for development and progress. Sheikh Sultan noted that culture is the foundation of progress, and philanthropy supports legacy, inspires new generations, and expands possibilities for a more prosperous future.

At the 17th Emirates Airline Festival of Literature, the obstacles facing the world in addressing financial shortfalls to achieve the goals of the United Nations Organization for Sustainable Development, and the role of philanthropy in achieving these goals, were discussed. Perspectives presented in the book "The Business of Philanthropy" published by Harper Collins, authored by Badr Jafar, highlight the power of philanthropic initiatives and their ability to accelerate all-encompassing changes.

Badr Jafar, a representative of the philanthropic sector of the UAE and general director of the Crescent Enterprises project, held a dialogue with Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, the founder of the Barjeel Art Foundation, and general director of the Wamda Group, Fadi Gandour, and founder of the Emirates Literature Foundation, Izabel Abulkhair. They all focused on the need to develop thoughtful approaches to philanthropy based on clear data for effective directions of philanthropic means. Badr Jafar emphasized: "At this moment, when the world is confronted with one of the largest advances of wealth through all times, the main problem is not the accessibility of resources, but their strategic and conscious direction for ensuring sustainable and long-term results, as philanthropy is no longer simply an act of giving, but the key to all-encompassing change."
