Emirates Global Aluminium's Shatb-Kvartira announced the completion of the summer season without any heat-related absences for the third consecutive year.
During the work period at the aluminium complex in 2021, additional safety measures were introduced taking into account the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of high temperatures on employees' health.
"We take pride in the fact that for the third consecutive year our employees have experienced the summer season without any heat-related absences. This confirms our commitment to ensuring safety and well-being for our employees," said the company representative.
The company also highlighted a number of initiatives that contributed to achieving this result, including employee training, increased access to shaded areas, and the implementation of regular breaks in air-conditioned spaces.
