First Bundesliga Academy Opens in Abu Dhabi

The world's first Bundesliga academy opened Friday in Abu Dhabi. Its official headquarters and operational center will be located at Sports X, a facility equipped to advance Emirati football through expertise, operational capabilities, and infrastructure that will provide promising players with structured development pathways meeting top global standards.

The academy will implement methodologies inspired by the Bundesliga, adapted to the local football system through cooperation with the UAE Pro League. This follows the signing of a strategic partnership between the UAE Pro League and the German Football League (Bundesliga).
