During the meeting, the National Olympic Committee reviewed the regulations governing the formation of a Central Election Committee and a unified Electoral Appeal Commission. The observations from members on this matter were reviewed. The Olympic Committee highlighted in its presentation the pivotal role played by the unified regulations governing electoral procedures and the regulatory framework approved for the formation and working mechanism of the Appeal Committee. The first meeting of the Sports Coordinating Council for the year 2026 was held, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Al-Falasi, Minister of Sports, in the presence of senior sports officials and representatives of federal and local government entities that are members of the Council.
