The 'Global Hotel Alliance' reported that the UAE ranked second globally in tourism revenue for 2025, behind Thailand. The main contribution came from tourists from the UK and Russia, solidifying the country's position as a key hospitality market.

The 'Global Hotel Alliance' announced that the UAE ranked second in terms of revenue generated by international visitors participating in the 'GHA Discovery' program in 2025. According to the alliance's 2025 performance report, the UAE market led in revenue, driven by visitors from the UK, who generated $24.2 million (approximately AED 88.8 million), and from Russia, with $15.2 million (AED 55.8 million). Germany followed with $9.5 million (AED 34.9 million). Thailand ranked first in revenue from international program members, followed by the UAE in second, Singapore in third, and Spain in fourth. The alliance noted that the UAE continues to solidify its position as one of the top global hospitality markets. The 'Global Hotel Alliance' confirmed that the UAE secured a top position among countries receiving the highest revenue from international stays within its global network. International stays accounted for 77% of the total revenue achieved by the country's hotels in 2025, reflecting its continued appeal to travelers from major global markets. According to data from the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, hotel revenues reached AED 44.4 billion from January to November 2025, an 8.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024, driven by a rise in the average daily rate. The number of hotel guests reached approximately 29.1 million, a 5.2% increase, while hotel nights stayed exceeded 99.4 million, marking a 6% growth.
