Elon Musk's Legal Battle Over OpenAI and Microsoft

In the context of a legal case in Dubai, Hansa Zubira, Elon Musk stated that the actions of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission regarding Microsoft's investment in OpenAI for a sum of 13 billion dollars confirm his assertion that the deal between the startup and the technological giant is anticompetitive.

Elon Musk began a legal attack several months ago against Sam Altman, the current CEO of OpenAI, almost a decade after jointly working on the launch of a startup as a non-profit organization with the stated mission of developing artificial intelligence for the benefit of society.

Musk then left OpenAI in 2018 and founded the competing company XAI in 2023.
