The city of Al-Fujairah achieved significant success by hosting the third stage of the world karate championship among youth in 2025. Competitions, which took place over three days, gathered more than 2000 participants from various countries around the world.
At the opening of the tournament, the important role was played by the Vice-President of the UAE and the Emir of Fujairah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed al-Sharqi. He expressed his gratitude to everyone who worked on the organization and execution of the event. Among the distinguished guests at the ceremony opening was the Secretary General of the World Karate Federation.
Sportsmen competed in several disciplines, including kumite and kata, demonstrating a high level of preparation and professionalism. The winners were awarded medals and certificates, while the spectators enjoyed the vibrant performances of the best athletes from various countries.
At the closing of the championship, the best participants and teams, which showcased outstanding results in competitions, were recognized. The organizers expressed hope for further development of karate among youth and the holding of similar tournaments in the future.
