The Sharjah handball team has been crowned the champion of the first edition of the Union Cup for seniors and juniors. In the senior category, the team defeated Al-Zaid 24-19, while in the junior category, they also defeated Al-Zaid 13-0, as part of the seventh round of the competition. In the senior category matches of the round, Al-Ahli Youth defeated Al-Wasl 23-22, and Dibba Al-Hisn defeated Meliha 27-25. In the junior category, Al-Ahli Youth defeated Al-Wasl 47-39, and Meliha defeated Dibba Al-Hisn 34-35. With this result, Sharjah increased its points to 30, achieving 10 consecutive wins in both the senior and junior categories, with one postponed match remaining against Dibba Al-Hisn.
