Within the framework of hospitality, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure of the UAE held a meeting with high-level representatives from Southern Africa to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in the field of sustainable infrastructure development, transport, and the application of modern technologies in the implementation of large projects.

During the meeting in Dubai yesterday at the Ministry's building, the Vice-Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Engineer Hassan Mohammed Jumaa Al Mansuri, received the Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure of Southern Africa, Dina Makferson, and his accompanying delegation.

As part of the delegation's visit to the Middle Eastern countries, aimed at increasing cooperation and exchanging experiences in the field of infrastructure and strategic project development, the parties discussed the previous experiences of the countries in the development of intelligent and sustainable cities, best practices in implementing strategic projects in accordance with international standards, and also the main projects in the field of infrastructure and transport.

During the meeting, detailed information was presented about contemporary innovations used by the ministry in the implementation of projects, including the use of artificial intelligence, ecological sustainability, the development of smart roads and green buildings in accordance with the best global standards.
